Hartford House was perfect for our 18th Anniversary celebration. We love Central Oregon and enjoyed our day trips almost as much as hanging out here in your beautiful home.

Hartford House was perfect for a great visit to Bend. The town is so cozy and the food was incredible. I would love to visit the town again. I would definitely stay at the Hartford House when we do! Thanks again, the house is beautiful.

We don’t want to leave! Exceptionally comfortable and immaculate home base for exploring the wonders of the area. Thanks for the welcoming loaf of bread and bottled water and for arranging a week of perfect weather for us! Especially loved the backyard arrangement—beautiful design. We sure enjoyed our long weekend in Bend, especially the comfortable and relaxing “home base” here. Thank you!
Over the weekend, we strolled along the shop downtown and dined on the river at the Tavern. The highlight of the trip was the Pacific Coast Half Marathon over in Sunriver. Gorgeous weather, scenery, and terrific people.
We’re quite impressed with the Old Mill District and all the new development around Bend.
Sunday A.M. breakfast down the street at Westside Bakery was a great way to end our weekend.
So thanks again for helping make our first visit to Bend so memorable. I know we’ll be back.

What a wonderful cottage! Our long weekend in Bend for a wedding was made all the more enjoyable with the comforts of the Hartford House. We love the Baldy’s BBQ, and breakfast and lunch at The Village Baker. Bike rentals for trail cruising was perfect—and my teen daughter found many boutiques to explore!
We enjoyed Rummikub one night and TV movies another. One suggestion—add a blender so we can make somoothies with all the wonderful NW berries!

We never expected to feel so at home as we did here at Hartford House! From the moment we opened the door we felt as if we were in our own home! The location fit all of our adventure needs. Downtown, Bachelor, Crater Lake, and many more places.
Thank you for having games and puzzles—my daughter really enjoyed them.
Jim, thank you for taking me around to check on houses. That time helped me greatly in sensing the market here in Bend.

Can we just move in?! Just enjoyed our last evening of Oregon Pinot Noir and Oregon goodies from the farmer’s market on your awesome patio. We’ve hiked, rafted, explored, kayaked, etc.—there is so much here to do. The Hartford House has been our perfect vacation home—thank you so much for the great set-up. The kids loved the dog run, big patio, chicken coop, and ping pong table. Weather has been incredible. I’m ready to relocate!

What a lovely home! It is so comfy and cozy, especially during those rare days of rain in Bend. Great location to all that Bend has to offer. Fly fishing Fall River was awesome—caught and released lots of good sized fish.
